Downtown restaurants and retailers partner for free shopping and tasting crawl.
Ever wish you could taste your way through the delicious restaurants in Downtown Easton? Here’s your chance.
Spring Into Easton, the free shopping and tasting crawl organized by the Greater Easton Development Partnership, returns Saturday, April 14, in Downtown Easton. Restaurants and retailers pair up for a day where visitors can browse through Downtown shops, and find tasty small bites from participating restaurants.
“Visitors love this event because they get to sample from their favorite restaurants, and try a few new places they haven’t visited yet,” says Jo Moranville, of the GEDP special events and promotions team. “And our participating business owners enjoy the day because they get to meet new customers and showcase new menu items for the spring.”
The fifth annual Spring Into Easton will be held noon to 4 p.m. The event started in 2014 as a way to introduce people to the extensive array of restaurants and boutiques within Downtown Easton. In 2018, approximately 24 retail/restaurant pairings will be offered.
Visitors are encouraged to make their first stop at the Retail Concierge Info tent that will be set up in Centre Square that day to pick up a game card. Those who get 15 or more stamps from participating businesses can return their card to the tent and be entered into a drawing to win prizes and gift cards from Downtown retailers. Winners will be called at 4 p.m. and can claim their prizes at Easton Public Market before 6 p.m.
