Lehigh Valley Mall, the leader in premier shopping, dining, entertainment and mixed-use destinations in the Lehigh Valley, announced its fall campaign to support Susan G. Komen, the world’s leading nonprofit breast cancer organization during October, Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
Through this campaign, the Lehigh Valley Mall and surrounding Simon Malls will support Komen’s work to save lives and reach its Bold Goal of reducing the current number of breast cancer deaths by 50 percent in the United States by 2026. Simon is joining the fight against breast cancer by starting a conversation and challenging people to help create a renewed movement in the fight against breast cancer, a disease that will kill more than 42,000 people this year.
During the month of October, Lehigh Valley will be offering the following amenities in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month:
• Discount Pass Program: Shoppers who make a $10 donation to Komen in the month of October will receive a discount pass valid at participating retailers.
• Giftcards: Simon will donate $1 to Komen for each specially marked Visa® Simon Giftcard® purchased.
• More Than Pink Hero Wall: At participating Simon properties, shoppers can visually celebrate and honor the hero who inspires and uplifts them. For a donation of $1 or more to Komen, shoppers will receive a pink sticker on which they can write the name of their hero and place on the More Than Pink® Hero Wall.
In 2018, Simon raised more than $550,000 to benefit Susan G. Komen, all generated through the support and participation of shoppers, retailers, and employees.
